Our Story

Every tree has a story. So do we.

Oak & Olive Co. was born during a season our family never expected.

Breast cancer became part of our family's story, bringing with it uncertainty, fear, long days, difficult decisions, and a journey toward healing. It changed our lives in ways we could never have anticipated.

But cancer isn't the whole story.

Because in the middle of one of our hardest seasons, we experienced something even greater: the faithfulness of God.

We learned that faith isn't only for the seasons when life feels good. It's what roots us when everything around us feels uncertain. We learned to trust when we couldn't see what was ahead, to find gratitude in the smallest moments, and to hold onto the truth that God was still good.

As healing came and one season began giving way to another, the idea for Oak & Olive Co. began to grow.

We wanted to create something that carried the truths our family had learned into the lives of others. Clothing that could be more than clothing. Simple, meaningful pieces that remind someone wearing them, or someone who sees them, that God is faithful in every season.

That is why we chose the oak and the olive.

The oak represents strength, steadfast faith, and roots that grow deep enough to withstand the storm.

The olive represents peace, healing, hope, and God's enduring faithfulness.

Together, they tell our story.

A story of hardship and healing.
Of being tested and remaining rooted.
Of discovering that even when seasons change, God does not.
